Those of us Challenged by or with Kidney Cancer owe a large thank you to Ken McErlain, the reporter who has followed this story so assiduously and tenaciously, and to his editor Peter Aengenheister, without whose support The Rugby Advertiser would not have given the plight of Kidney Cancer patients such prominence; Also the many other Journalists and Editors who have taken this brave step when you consider The Government is now Britain's largest advertiser able to throttle the media should they offend too greatly!

May I on behalf of all with RCC, who do or may need Sutent, Nexavar or similar life saving drugs and those who may need Radio-Frequency Ablation or HIFU treatments almost unavailable in Britain or Cyber Knife surgery from an NHS that doesn't even invest in the equipment, which is in common use in America & Canada and available in France, Germany, Spain, Italy & Sweden - all bar one of which Britain subsidises with its contributions to the EUropean soviet at a rate of £1,800,000 per HOUR (I quote The Institute of Directors). That not withstanding I thank the media in general for their help in raising Awareness of the plight of Kidney Cancer patients and the way in which they have shown that the PCTs have been practicing EUthenasia by stealth.

It is obscene to think that this barbaric treatment of the very ill is occuring in Britain through the devolved irresponsibility of Regional decision making, when you consider there are more prescriptions written in Argentina for Sutent than in third world Britain! User: Greg L-W.
