Overview

UK - Patient Care Trust

Each separate PCT in England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland (or its Regional Equivalent: LHB etc.) can be accessed by name if you search through the Index 'Hospitals + Trusts' to do so Click Here

They are not trusts in the legal sense but are in effect public sector corporations or QUANGOs. Each trust is headed by a board consisting of executive and non-executive directors, and is chaired by a non-executive director. Non-executive directors are recruited by open advertisement!
