Overview

Lets start with the Basics:

  • As an adult with obviouse responsibilities YOU NEED to IMMEDIATELY make A Will
  • ASK FOR HELP completing any tasks on your list - in good order and with dignity.
  • List the tasks you need to complete and prioritise them
  • Write it down! emotions or drugs may make the task increasingly difficult.
  • List the people you want to contact.
  • Trust your instincts!
  • Lack of information can lead to isolation
  • Use the word “cancer” & be "factual"
  • There is a risk of your family & friends finding out from someone else – which could lead to loss of trust
  • We cannot protect loved ones from feeling sad, sharing emotions can bring you closer together and help them to cope when you are gone
  • Being honest does not mean telling everything it means telling the truth!
