Ectopic Ureter

A ureter which fails to connect properly to the bladder and drains somewhere outside the bladder

Eididymis

A coiled tube attached to the back and upper side of the testicle that stores sperm and is connected to the vas deferens

Epididymitis

An inflammation of the epididymis

Epidural

A form of regional anesthesia involving injection of drugs through a catheter placed into the Epidural space (Spinal Region).

Epinephrine

Hormone also known as adrenaline

Epithelium

The outside layer of cells lining

Erythema

Erythema: A redness of the skin resulting from inflammation

Erythrodysesthesia Syndrome

Tingling sensation of the palms and soles, progressing to severe pain and tenderness with erythema and oedema; caused by continuous infusion therapy.

Extrachromosomal

In general, this refers to anything outside of chromosomes, and in this case to DNA fragments unincorporated into chromosomal DNA.

Extravasation

Process of passing urine
