Sir, - I was appalled to read the article about Angelena Buxton in Tuesday's Sentinel. What a dreadful situation for her and her family. It was like someone standing on a riverbank with a life belt, watching someone else slowly drowning and not helping, because its use has not been authorised. There seems to be so much waste in the NHS, and I expect she had paid into it all her life. Please, Nice, make the drug available to Angelina now.G DAYSON Trentham

How right G. Drayson is - I also have been Challenged with kidney cancer and had a cancerous kidney removed but now have bladder cancer but as you will see at The James Whale Forum there are opportunities for 'Team Angelina' to chat with others, patients, carers and those with the disease.

Also Andy and I, both Kidney Cancer patients, have now set up www.KidneyCancerResource.com to help others Challenged by this silent killer so neglected by the many Regional Medical Suppliers who have replaced The NHS that once was the envy of the world.

Do join us and help so there are no more Angelinas allowed to 'drown', as a public spectacle, by the very Institutions their life taxes paid for!

Regards, Greg L-W.
