Accelerated Community Oncology Research Network, Inc. (ACORN)

ACORN is a unique network — much more than the typical network — of progressive community oncology clinics working together to change the paradigm of how clinical trials are implemented. ACORN, which stands for Accelerated Community Oncology Research Network, was founded at an actual community oncology clinic — The West Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee — to address the inefficiencies of clinical research.

ACORN consists of a group of professionals with expertise in clinical research, oncology, data management, regulatory, information technology, analytical/statistical methods, accounting/financial management, operations design, marketing, and business development.

The ACORN network currently includes over 150 oncology investigators who are entrepreneurial, committed to clinical research, and interested in new revenue sources. This collaboration of select community oncology clinics provides access to the most promising clinical trials available anywhere.

By employing the ACORN centralized model of efficiency and advanced technology, our network members enjoy the advantage of a quicker and more efficient research process. By linking like-minded practices in a cooperative network, ACORN consistently meets accrual objectives and delivers quality data collection. Along with a constant, focused dedication to the ACORN research process, our members represent a wide demographic and geographic spectrum.
