The Kidney which you see bisected here

The Kidney which you see bisected here takes blood from the Aeorta via the Renal artery into the Kidney where it is filtered before the cleansed blood is returned via the Renal vein to the Inferior Vena Cava.

The impurities together with fluid (mainly water) are gathered in the central portion of the kidney or the Renal Pelvis where it then passes into the Uriter of each Kidney and drains downwards to the bladder for storage until it is suitable or adequate to flow from the body via the Urethra.
